OSHA Competent Person - Class I/II EPA NESHAP's On-Site Representative This 5-day course exceeds all requirements of EPA/OSHA for Contractor/Supervisor/Competent Person/NESHAPs On-site Coordinator. Course elements prepare the attendee for managing a state-of-the-art asbestos abatement project as required by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1101(o). Key elements of the course include: OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations review background information on asbestos air monitoring health effects of asbestos protective equipment emphasizing respiratory protection state-of-the-art work practices and procedures, medical evaluations record keeping insurance liability issues This course is required for anyone supervising Class I/II asbestos projects in schools, public or commercial buildings. An 8-Hour Refresher Course for Contractor/Supervisor is also available which reviews the course elements and emphasizes current regulatory changes and state-of-the-art management of asbestos projects.
